Training and Education

DCCOR takes pride in training the future leaders of pediatric obesity research. We offer mentorship to learners at all levels, including undergraduate students, post-graduates, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty members.

There are many opportunities at DCCOR to gain knowledge, skills, and experience in pediatric obesity research:

  • Attend our monthly journal club, where we discuss recently-published cutting-edge research articles related to pediatric obesity.

  • Attend a works in progress, where we invite colleagues to present about a project and gather input about its development.

  • Join DCCOR as a trainee, where you’ll receive mentorship while working on current DCCOR research projects.

  • Apply for the internal DCCOR-sponsored grant awards--more information about upcoming opportunities can be found on the Grants and Funding page.

Additional opportunities for training and education with DCCOR will be posted as they become available.
