Duke Pediatrics in the Community

For Duke Pediatrics to care for every single child and our community as a whole, we work with community partners and collaborative efforts to educate and mobilize the public, community groups, and policy makers around child and adolescent health issues.

Volunteering

Duke Pediatrics has a long history of volunteering locally in Durham and its surrounding cities to help build a better and stronger community for children and their families.

Community Support

We work with community partners to foster a healthier way of life for children. One example is the Duke Healthy Lifestyles Food Market. Since its inception in 2020, it has provided over 10,000 bags of groceries as well as healthy food for over 36,000 household members.
