The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents with rheumatic diseases. Because rheumatic diseases are complex and can often affect multiple organ systems, the division works closely with subspecialists throughout the medical center to provide expert consultation and state-of-the-art approaches to patient management.
Our division consists of nine board-certified pediatric rheumatologists, who are all actively involved in research related to the etiology and pathogenesis of pediatric rheumatic disorders. We provide education and teaching to residents and medical students to facilitate their understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune and auto-inflammatory disorders and have an active fellowship program. We are involved in the local and national level in improving the lives of children with chronic rheumatic diseases.
