Fellows will follow a prescribed curriculum that combines conferences, lectures, and direct patient learning. In addition to on site learning, fellows will augment their learning with participation in M&M and unit simulation.

Fellows will be led by the Fellowship Directors. The Fellowship Directors will be responsible for scheduling, curriculum, and monitoring the Fellows performance at regular intervals.
Successful completion of the Pediatric Heart Center APP Fellowship Program will be based on performance evaluations and demonstration of competencies during procedures. Graduate fellows will possess the institutional knowledge and educational platform to be high performers as providers in Duke’s Pediatric Heart Center.
Expected Hours and Schedule
This position is full time with a 40-hour work week schedule. The fellow will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays. Participation in weekly lectures with critical care fellows, journal clubs and other educational lectures.
