Why Dr. Patel joined the Gastroenterology Fellowship.
The Pediatric GI division is a family of brilliant, kind, and hardworking people who inspire me every day. Our leadership is incredibly supportive, fellows have ample opportunities to do procedures, and all of our faculty are excellent teachers. 

What were Dr. Patel's research interests during the fellowship?
My interests included quality and safety of pediatric endoscopy and procedural teaching.

Annette Roberts, MD

Why Dr. Roberts joined the Gastroenterology Fellowship.
The Duke Pediatric GI Fellowship program offers comprehensive clinical training under the mentorship of experienced and dedicated faculty. Fellows benefit from a supportive environment and interdisciplinary collaboration, preparing them for successful careers in pediatric gastroenterology.

What were Dr. Roberts' research interests during the fellowship?
I was involved in research through the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI) where I was also a Chief Fellow of the DCRI Research Fellowship. My research interests were in neonatal gastrointestinal diseases and intestinal failure.
