What are the strengths of your training program?
Supportive faculty, great co-fellows, emphasis on education, great clinical training with complex patients, variety of pathology, and procedural opportunities

How are you involved in research? What are your research interests?
I am involved in a retrospective study using large data extraction to evaluate sedoanalgesia trends in the bronchiolitis population over the last decade as well as comparing sedation exposure of this population to that of children intubated for other causes of respiratory failure. I am also involved in the local site patient screening and consent process for a multi-institutional prospective trial on different phenotypes in sepsis (PRECISE). Additionally, I am concluding a study on the risk of hyponatremia in neonates exposed to vasopressin following congenital heart surgery. My research interests are broad and include sedation, delirium, sepsis, postoperative medical management, and ECMO.

How do you spend your time outside of work?
I enjoy hiking and going on the various nature trails in the area, trying out new foods, traveling, watercolor, and hanging out with friends and family.
