What are the strengths of your training program?
- Consistent, proactive support for the individualized development of educational and career interests of fellows on both a departmental and institutional level
- The care that is taken to craft both a faculty and fellow cohort that is diverse in backgrounds, life experiences, clinical and non-clinical interests
- Opportunity to learn multifaceted, complex clinical management in an environment that prioritizes fellow education and autonomy with an appropriate balance of cultural safety and support
How are you involved in research? What are your research interests?
My current research projects involve clinical research on breastfeeding and nutrition outcomes in hospitalized infants. In addition to this, I am more broadly interested in nutrition in critically ill children and medical education.
How do you spend your time outside of work?
When I am not at work, I enjoy exploring the area’s outdoor activities and ice cream scene with my son and dog. I also like trying different restaurants in the area, hanging out at home with my family and friends, and binge watching trash reality TV shows alone on my couch whenever I get the chance.
