What are the strengths of your training program?
The Duke Pediatric GI Fellowship program offers comprehensive clinical training under the mentorship of experienced and dedicated faculty. Fellows benefit from a supportive environment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and exposure to a diverse patient population, preparing them for successful careers in pediatric gastroenterology.
How are you involved in research? What are your research interests?
I am involved in research through the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI) where I am also a Chief Fellow of the DCRI Research Fellowship. My research interests are in neonatal gastrointestinal diseases and intestinal failure.
How do you spend your time outside of work?
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my husband, daughter, and our dog. We enjoy exploring new restaurants and breweries, hiking, and traveling together. One of my favorite activities is making pizza from scratch with my husband using our new pizza oven.
