The decision to reopen schools is complicated and nuanced and should consider the specific needs and public health situations of individual communities, Duke health experts said Tuesday. Speaking to reporters during a virtual media briefing, two pediatricians and an applied economist explained the many difficult aspects to consider when deciding whether to reopen schools to children this fall.
