Welcome to our newest group of fellows and subspecialty residents to the Department of Pediatrics! The Duke Department of Pediatrics fellowship programs are designed to provide outstanding training to prepare our fellows to excel as superb clinicians, skilled researchers, excellent teachers and advocates within their subspecialty field of pediatrics. The department currently trains fellows in a wide variety of fellowship programs. These programs combine self-directed learning within the context of a large variety of clinical settings, didactic instruction, top-notch research, and faculty mentoring. Each program offers a variety of experiences for interested fellows, including a focus on clinical expertise, specialized clinical training, teaching proficiency, along with clinical, translational and basic science research opportunities, exposure to quality improvement, and work within interprofessional teams.
