Duke Pediatrics had the pleasure of celebrating the 2024 graduating residents and fellows at a graduation and awards ceremony held during Grand Rounds on Tuesday, June 11th.

UPDATE 11/29/24: Since the program started, 26 cases have been completed and 4 patients returned for their 2nd procedure.

The 2024 retreat, in honor of Dr. Samuel L. Katz, took place from April 9-12.

Adrian Epstein, MD, PhD, a neonatology research fellow, and Sara Janos, MD, a pediatric radiology fellow, have co-authored a recent article that appears in Cell Stem Cell. 

Karl-Dimiter Bissig, MD, PhD, and team developed a new experimental humanized animal model that mimics human responses better than previous models.
