Duke Pediatrics Celebrates Match Day 2025

The Duke Department of Pediatrics congratulates our newly matched medical students! On Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Trent Semans Center for Health Education, fourth-year medical students from the Duke University School of Medicine opened their envelopes to discover where they will complete their residency training. Match Day is a coordinated event organized by the National Resident Matching Program.

This year, the department’s incoming 2025 intern class will consist of 18 categorical interns (including 2 who will proceed to Child Neurology) and 6 Combined Medicine-Pediatrics trainees. Our new interns represent 22 different medical schools, including 2 from Duke.

As we welcome this exceptional intern class to the Duke family, we would like to express our gratitude to our faculty and current residents for their invaluable support during this year’s residency recruitment season.

Congratulations to the new class! We are excited to have them as part of Duke Pediatrics.
