Dr. Misuraca is the director of research development for the Department of Pediatrics who uses her talents in scientific research and grant writing in an ever-evolving role centered on reviewing and editing individual grants for faculty, coordinating department-wide grant submissions, and overseeing a variety of research development and research training/education initiatives and programs.
Surana named Duke Scholars in Molecular Medicine Director
The Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) recently announced that Neil Surana, MD, PhD, an assistant professor of pediatrics, immunology, and molecular genetics and microbiology in the Duke School of Medicine, will be the next director of the Duke Scholars in Molecular Medicine (DSMM) career development program.

Gbadegesin awarded 2021 Distinguished Professorship
Nine faculty members in the Duke University School of Medicine, including Rasheed Gbadegesin, MD, MBBS, have been awarded distinguished professorships. In total, Duke University awarded distinguished professorships to 22 faculty members from eight Duke colleges and schools this year.
