Reflections on the Duke program
What were you looking for in a residency program?
I wanted a medium sized program that offered top-level pediatric subspecialty exposure (particularly in cardiology) with great research opportunities and a supportive program with awesome people- Duke has definitely delivered in all categories.
What do you want to get involved in at Duke that particularly interests you (i.e. committees, research, interest groups, QI, etc.)?
About Duke and Durham
What’s best about living in Durham and the Triangle?
I love all of the beautiful hiking nearby, and it's easy to drive to the beach/mountains! There's also plenty of fun breweries/restaurants to explore and lots of festivals, concerts, musicals, etc. so lots to do without leaving the area.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I am obsessed with trying new recipes, I love to paint/draw and I'm also very into hiking/very slow runs :)
