Reflections on the Duke program
What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was looking for a mid-sized program with full range of sub-specialties to learn from within an academic center. I prioritized programs that had strong research opportunities in addition to excellent clinical training.
What do you want to get involved in at Duke that particularly interests you (i.e. committees, research, interest groups, QI, etc.)?
I was most interested in being involved in DPRS to have the opportunity to perform and be involved in great research projects as well as simultaneously having the opportunity to learn the skills to improve my skills in that arena.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to hike, paint, spend time with family and friends, and travel. You'll find me constantly planning my next adventure as big as going abroad or as small as finding a new restaurant to try!
