What are the strengths of your training program?
I am excited to continue my training at Duke, where I also completed my residency. Duke's collaborative environment, diverse pathology, and strong culture of mentorship have made it an exceptional place to learn and grow. I have especially appreciated how willing faculty and colleagues are to teach, support new ideas, and involve trainees in meaningful research and quality improvement projects. These opportunities have fostered both my clinical development and my passion for lifelong learning.

What are your research interests?
While not currently involved in any active projects.  I was involved in multiple Quality Improvement projects throughout my time in residency that focused on blood culture utilization and Vaso-occlusive crisis in sickle cell patients.

How do you spend your time outside of work?
Durham is a fantastic place to live.  Outside of work I love meeting up with friends for walks or exploring new coffee shops. I also have a dog and love spending time checking out new dog parks and dog friendly breweries!
