Exposure to a wide variety of pathology in a diverse setting, while still being a small enough program to make it easy to get to know co-residents.
About Duke and Durham
What’s best about living in Durham and the Triangle?
Affordable cost of living, lots of great food, and easy access to nature! 2.5 hours to the mountains or the ocean, but Eno River State Park is <15 min from the hospital and has lots of secluded creekside trails to wander after work or on a day off.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Garden (I have a little flower and vegetable plot behind my apartment), bake, and hike. I'm also trying to get out on the water more, and just bought a small kayak to take out on the Eno and Jordan/Falls lakes.
