Reflections on the Duke program
What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was looking for a program at a center of academic excellence with opportunities for learning and research with enthusiastic mentors and role models. I was also looking for a supportive community that really encouraged me to become the best pediatrician that I can be. I definitely have found this at Duke.
What are the strengths of the Duke program?
The people at Duke are absolutely incredible! They are all so intelligent, accomplished, and hardworking but also very down to earth, humble, and fun to be around. I have found such a wonderful community here that have really supported me during my transition into residency.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I have loved getting to know all my amazing co-residents! We have had a lot of fun exploring Durham's food and drink scene as well as different nature trails and parks.
