The project period is 09/12/2019-06/30/2025.

Danny Benjamin, MD, PhD, MPH (Infectious Diseases) and Rachel Greenberg, MD, MHS (Neonatology) received an award from National Institutes of Health/NCATS in the amount of $81,680 for a project entitled HEAL Pain Supplement MFMU Network. The project period is 09/15/2020-06/30/2021.

Coleen Cunningham, MD (Infectious Diseases) received an award from Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp. in the amount of $108,361 for a project entitled A Phase 2 Clinical Study to Evaluate the Pharmacokinetics, Safety, and Efficacy of Doravirine/Islatravir in Adolescents with HIV-1 Infection who are Virologically Suppressed, are ≥12 to <18 Years of Age, and Weigh ≥35 kg. The project period is 11/16/2020-11/15/2022.

Michael Deel, MD (Hematology-Oncology) received an award Hyundai Hope on Wheels 2020 Scholar grant in the amount of $300,000 for a project entitled Novel Vulnerabilities within PAX3-FOX01 Transcriptional Programming for Fusion-Positive Rhabdomyosarcoma. The project period is 12/29/2020-12/31/2022.

Mohamad Mikati, MD (Neurology) received an award from Stridebio grant in the amount of $706,765 for a project entitled Optimization of Gene Therapy in Mouse Model of ATP1A3 Mutation. The project period is 10/13/2020-11/30/2022.

David Ming, MD (Hospital Medicine) received an award from Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers in the amount of $10,000 for a project entitled Regional Complex Care Conference. The project period is 06/15/2020-04/30/2021.

Sallie Permar, MD, PhD (Infectious Diseases) and Jennifer Jenks (Molecular Genetics and Microbiology) received an award from the National Institutes of Health Fellowship award in the amount of $126,149 for a project entitled Immune Correlates of Protection Against Nonprimary Congenital Cytomegalovirus Transmission in an HIV-Infected Mother-Infant Cohort. The project period is 11/1/2020-10/31/2023.

Eliana Perrin, MD, MPH (Primary Care) received a supplement from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the amount of $64,109 for a project entitled Greenlight Plus Study a Randomized Study of Approaches to Early Childhood Obesity Prevention –COVID-19 Supplement. The project period is 07/01/2020/06/30/2021.

Kristin Schroeder, MD, MPH (Hematology-Oncology), Nelson Chao, MD, MBA (Cell Therapy and Hematologic Malignancies) and Michael Kastan, MD, PhD (Pharmacology and Cancer Biology) received a supplement award from National Institutes of Health/NCI in the amount $199,940 for a project entitled Development of Culturally Adapted Pediatric Cancer Awareness Campaign in Tanzania. The project period is 09/08/2020-08/31/2021.

Edward Smith, MD (Neurology) received an award from Sarepta Therapeutics in the amount $25,912 for a project entitled Open-label comparison study of wearable devices BioStamp, AIM patch, and Actigraph as compared to ActiMyo in user preference and device performance for ambulatory DMD and LGMD patients. The project period is 09/25/2020-09/24/2021.
