Yeh-Chung Chang, MD (Infectious Diseases) received an award from Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp. in the amount of $132,268 or a project entitled, A Phase 2 Open-Label Single-Arm, Sequential-Panel Study to Evaluate the Pharmacokinetics, Safety and Tolerability o Posaconazole (PoS, MK 5592) in Pediatric Participants from Birth to < 2 Years of age with Invasive Fungal Infection. The project period is 09/30/2020-06/30/2025.

C. Michael Cotton, MD (Neonaology) received bridge funding for an additional two years from the National Institutes of Health/NICHD in the amount of $557,566 for the continuation of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver NICHD Cooperative Multicenter Neonatal Research Network. The project period is 04/01/2021-03/31/2023.

Jennifer Li, MD (Cardiology) received an award from the New England Research Institute in the amount of $151,110 for a project entitled, The NIH Longitudinal Study for Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome Therapies in Children. The project period is 01/01/2021-06/30/2025.

Lars Wagner, MD (Hematology-Oncology) received an award from H. Emmanuel Walter, MD, MPH (Infectious Diseases) received an award from Pfizer, Inc. in the amount of $687,913 for a project entitled, A Phase 1, Open-Label Dose-Finding and Phase 2/3 Placebo-Controlled, Observer-Blinded Study to Evaluate the Safety, Tolerability, and Immunogenicity of a Sars-Cov-2 RNA Vaccine Candidate Against Covid-19 in Healthy Children 5 to 12 years of Age.  The project period is 02/15/2021-02/14/2023.

March 2021
