McGreal Honored by Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation

Nancy McGreal, MD, associate professor of pediatrics in the division of gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition, received the inaugural Community Impact Award from the Carolina Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Dr. McGreal is an adult and pediatric gastroenterologist at Duke who has been involved with the Foundation for over 19 years, holding numerous national and local leadership positions.

On their website, the Foundation stated, “Dr. Nancy McGreal is the definition of a servant leader, representing our organization with dedication and passionately working hard to support patients, their families, and advance our mission. The impact she has made on our mission and the IBD community is substantial, and we are honored to recognize her dedication and commitment with our inaugural 2023 Triangle Community Impact Award.”
