The Duke Department of Pediatrics congratulates our newly matched medical students who opened their envelopes on Friday, March 18, 2022 to learn where in the country they will complete residency training. The ceremony took place in person this year at the Trent Semans Center for Health Education, after two years of virtual ceremonies.
The department’s incoming 2022 intern class will include 18 categorical (including 2 who will proceed on to Child Neurology), and 6 Combined Medicine-Pediatrics trainees. Our new interns will have attended 24 different medical schools, including 1 from Duke.
