What were you looking for in a residency program?
I wanted a residency program that served a diverse population and a program that could balance both autonomy and guidance. I also followed my gut feeling. I really enjoyed the people and the conversations I had on my interview day here at Duke.
About Duke and Durham
What's best about living in Durham and the Triangle?
Everything is so close, and there is no traffic. I’m a 7 minute drive from the hospital, the store, and the gym. I’m also a 10 minute walk from all of the restaurants downtown.
Personal interests
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to workout. I lift weights and enjoy spending time outside. I love to paint and draw. Every once in a while, I love to bake!

Horror is my favorite movie genre
