What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was looking for a diverse residency program that specifically prioritizes wellness and mentorship through action.
What do you want to get involved in at Duke that particularly interests you?
Diversity committees, specifically curriculum related. URiM Affinity Groups: Women, African American
What are the strengths of the Duke program?
Diversity, strong training, prestige translating into largely unlimited resources and research opportunities, location, size, mentorship, and Dr. Mallory & Cheza (we already love them).
What's best about living in Durham and the Triangle?
The weather, proximity of activities (outdoors, social, etc), research opportunities, and sports.

What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I play with my dog Kobe, go out to eat or for coffee, hang out with friends and explore new places, and relax at home reading, doing crafts, or binging Netflix.
What is something interesting/surprising about you?
I'm an Irish twin. My brother is 11 months younger than me so we're the same age for 3 weeks every year around halloween.
