Neonatology

What are the strengths of your training program?
I think the people are one of this program’s greatest strengths. I am new to Duke, and as I have gotten my bearings, I have always felt welcome from all members of the team. I also chose Duke for the high acuity, large neonatal unit that prioritizes fellow learning and autonomy.

How are you involved in research? What are your research interests?
I am not yet involved in research at Duke, though I am excited to get started. I am interested in environmental exposures during the perinatal period and their impact on neurodevelopment.

How do you spend your time outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with friends and family when our schedules align. I am a bit of a foodie, and I love trying out new restaurants and breweries. I enjoy spending time outside, and I am excited to explore the nearby mountains and beaches. Lastly, I play the cello, and I look forward to possibly joining a local orchestral group.
