What are the strengths of your training program?
Duke is one of the leaders in the country in pediatric cardiac care. Not only does this fellowship teach you the basics of being a cardiac intensivist but also exposes you to unique and novel innovations in pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery.
How are you involved in research? What are your research interests?
Given this fellowship is only a year my current involvement in research is minimal. My research interests are mostly centered around immune dysregulation in critically ill children.
