REFLECTIONS ON THE DUKE PROGRAM
What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was looking for a program that supports its residents in their academic endeavors and their personal goals. I also wanted somewhere that put an emphasis on advocacy and community outreach. I wanted to find a place where the residents were close to one another and felt supported by their coworkers. Also, a program where there were global health opportunities!
What do you want to get involved in at Duke that particularly interests you?
I would like to get involved in research, global health, interest groups, advocacy (HEAL) and community outreach!

What are you looking forward to most about living in Durham and the Triangle?
I love the outdoor areas around the Triangle and the opportunities to walk trails and hike. I also like the size and the fact that it feels larger than my hometown but still has plenty of character and authenticity.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to be outdoors in the sun, go to breweries, walk my dog, cook new recipes, and watch the Bachelor!
What is something interesting/surprising about you?
I'm a dual citizen: United States and Italy!
