REFLECTIONS ON THE DUKE PROGRAM
What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was looking for a residency program that embraces a diverse patient population, encourages community involvement, and empowers residents to advocate for their patients. I wanted to be a part of a cohort of residents who are excited to come to work and change lives!
What do you want to get involved in at Duke that particularly interests you?
I am interested in public health, community outreach, and mentoring students who are underrepresented in medicine.

What are you looking forward to most about living in Durham and the Triangle?
I am looking forward to exploring the outdoors! Coming from Florida, I am also very excited to experience all four seasons.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to make lattes, go on long walks, and hang out with my husband and son (a mini version of my husband).
What is something interesting/surprising about you?
I played the cello for over ten years!
