Reflections on the Duke program
What were you looking for in a residency program?
My biggest concern when looking at residency programs was finding somewhere with a supportive group of residents who treated each other like family and would make working and learning together enjoyable. At the same time, I wanted to train at a program where I would be exposed to both bread and butter pediatrics as well as high acuity and complex cases that I may only see once during my career. Duke perfectly checked off both these boxes for me!

What do you like to do outside of work?
When I'm not at work, I like to spend my time with my loved ones. Whether that's driving to the coast and spending time at the beach or going to the public library and enjoying the local parks and museums, Durham and the surrounding area has so much to offer!
