REFLECTIONS ON THE DUKE PROGRAM
What were you looking for in a residency program?
One of my biggest priorities was finding a program that was closely integrated with and dedicated to serving its community. I saw that clearly at Duke and how they care for the underserved patients in Durham and beyond. The warmth and excitement that I felt from the people who make up this residency program reaffirmed my decision to choose Duke!

What are you looking forward to most about living in Durham and the Triangle?
I'm so excited to be able to stay close to my family and my partner! I've also loved seeing the Triangle area grow over the years, especially the food scene!
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love baking for friends, cafe hopping, and reading mystery novels.
What is something interesting/surprising about you?
My family and I have made multiple cross-country road trips to the west coast (and up to Canada!) throughout my childhood.
