REFLECTIONS ON THE DUKE PROGRAM

What were you looking for in a residency program?
A welcoming, supportive environment that would support my growth as a clinician in a setting with exposure to world-class clinical opportunities. Additionally, I wanted the ability to explore different specialties and participate in scholarly work. Lastly, I wanted a program that had a close-knit feel amongst the residents.

What do you want to get involved in at Duke that particularly interests you?
I would like to get involved in medical education because of my interest in teaching as a key part of my career, as well as research in areas of clinical interest to me.

What are you looking forward to most about living in Durham and the Triangle?
I am looking forward to exploring all of the amazing food in the Triangle and going to sports games for local teams.

What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy running, playing basketball, cooking, baking, and reading.
