REFLECTIONS ON THE DUKE PROGRAM
What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was looking for a medium-size program at an academic children's hospital that values me as a budding pediatrician, setting me up for success in both general practice and fellowship routes, that has a team oriented family-feel, and has a diverse patient population. I also was born and raised in North Carolina, and have family in the triangle, so Duke's location was an added bonus!

What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, you can find me spending time with friends and family visiting local breweries, restaurants, parks, and museums.
What is something interesting/surprising about you?
I adopted my first son during 3rd year of medical school, and went into labor with my second son 2 hours after finishing my last day of in-person rotations 4th year of medical school!
