What are the strengths of your training program?
One of the greatest strengths of the Duke program is its supportive culture. The faculty and fellows are highly approachable, genuinely invested in fellows' growth, and prioritize our education and professional development. The program also offers exposure to a wide variety of high-acuity and complex neonatal cases, and outstanding opportunities to participate in both clinical and translational research.

How are you involved in research? What are your research interests?
My primary research interests include hypoxic neuronal injury, angiogenesis, and neonatal sepsis. I am particularly interested in research that bridges basic science and clinical care to improve outcomes for critically ill newborns.

How do you spend your time outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and traveling to new places. I also love cooking, and one of my favorite accomplishments has been learning to make chicken biryani. I'm still working on perfecting the recipe, but that's part of the fun.
