REFLECTIONS ON THE DUKE PROGRAM
What were you looking for in a residency program?
When looking for residencies I was looking for a program that had a strong child advocacy network within the community, a tight-knit group of residents and staff, and a large academic center. It was also important to me to be close to family to help me through those tough times in residency.
What do you want to get involved in at Duke that particularly interests you?
I'm interested in health equity, telemedicine/QI related research, and global health.

What are you looking forward to most about living in Durham and the Triangle?
Getting to continue going to my favorite coffee shops, restaurants, and exploring the explosion of activities in the triangle.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to crochet, bake bread, make pizza, read fantasy books, dance, and play video games.
What is something interesting/surprising about you?
I know 4 different languages and at one point was learning my 5th, so needless to say I really like learning new languages and cultures!
