What were you looking for in a residency program?I was looking for a mid-size program with a supportive atmosphere where I could feel confident that I was getting exposure to a wide variety of pediatric conditions and strong didactics as well. During my interview day at Duke, I could tell that the program created a positive, familial atmosphere with a strong emphasis on learning and developing well-rounded pediatricians.
What do you want to get involved in at Duke that particularly interests you?
I would love to get involved with medical education, and I am also interested in gaining further experience in global health as well.

What's best about living in Durham and the Triangle?
I’m excited to try the amazing restaurants here and catch some good basketball and hockey games! I’m also looking forward to having so many outdoor trails and parks to explore.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I love to spend time walking or hiking outdoors, as well as kayaking or paddle boarding when I can. I also love trying new recipes in the kitchen!
