REFLECTIONS ON THE DUKE PROGRAM

What were you looking for in a residency program?
A smaller cohort so we could all get to know each other well! I wanted a program with fellowship opportunities and that had the right vibes during informal meet & greets since everything is virtual.

What do you want to get involved in at Duke that particularly interests you?
I would like to get involved in legislative advocacy and global health.

What are you looking forward to most about living in Durham and the Triangle?
I am looking forward to living in an urban area with all the diversity and opportunity that brings, but also in an environment that feels small town (in the best ways), esp as a midwestern girl :)

What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to ice skate, thrift, and make coffee (and try new coffeeshops!)

What is something interesting/surprising about you?
I am big on sustainability and enjoyed doing vintage markets, etc. in med school to put clothes headed for landfill back into new closets!
