Mai ElMallah, MD, MS, FAAP, has been named Director of Duke Pediatrics Research Scholars Program (DPRS) starting on February 1, 2026. Dr. ElMallah brings a breadth of experience in training pediatrician-scientists as the Duke Pediatric K12 training director and a Pediatric R38 MPI. She is an accomplished scientist, outstanding mentor and leader. The Department is excited about the direction and opportunities ahead under her guidance.
