This year Duke Friends of Nursing was excited to return to an in-person gala celebration of the Friends of Nursing Award Winners on May 14, 2022 at the Durham Convention Center. We would like to give special recognition to the four award winners who work in Pediatrics across our health system as well as all of this year's nominees.
In 1988, the Friends of Nursing program at Duke was developed to recognize professional excellence in nursing practice, nursing education and nursing research, and to promote the image of nursing as a positive career choice.
