New and competing renewal awards, March 2017

The following are new and competing renewal awards made to faculty in the Department of Pediatrics for the month of March 2017. 

Michael Campbell (Cardiology) has received an award from Matthew’s Hearts of Hope Inc. in the amount of $2,500 for a project entitled, “Matthew’s Hearts of Hope – CHD project.” The project period is 2/1/2017 – 1/31/2018.

Michael Cohen-Wolkowiez (Infectious Diseases) has received an award from NIAID in the amount of $1,845,300 for a project entitled, “Phase 1 CTU Task Order 16.” The project period is 6/1/2017 – 12/31/2017.

Simon Gregory (Neurology), Yong-Hui Jiang (Medical Genetics), and Sheryl Moy (Psychiatry-UNC) have received an award from NIH in the amount of $2,961,042 for a project entitled, “Characterizing the (epi)genetics of Oxytocin Response in Clinical and Animal Models.” The project period is 2/14/2017 – 1/31/2022.
