The Institutional Committee for Graduate Medical Education has selected Tricia Dias, MD, a second year fellow in Neonatology, as the recipient of the annual Ralph Snyderman, MD, GME Research Award. Established in 2004, the award recognizes excellence in graduate medical research.
The committee selected Dr. Dias from a strong pool of applicants for her research project entitled, “Augmented Reality-Assisted Video Laryngoscopy Improves Intubation Proficiency of Novice Providers in a Simulation Environment."
“We had a record number of submissions this year, and the multidisciplinary panel of reviewers chose Tricia’s project as the clear winner,” says Associate Medical Director of Graduate Medical Education David A. Turner, MD. "Please join me in congratulating Tricia--we are looking forward to seeing her future work in this area."
