Bidegain and Chung elected to Society for Pediatric Research (SPR)

Margarita Bidegain, MD, associate professor of pediatrics in the Division of Neonatology and Richard Chung, MD, assistant professor of pediatrics in the Division of Primary Care, have been elected to the Society for Pediatric Research (SPR).

The mission of the Society for Pediatric Research is to foster the research and career development of investigators engaged in creating new knowledge that advances the health and well-being of children and youth. 

They will be inducted at the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) Annual Meeting, May 6 - 9, 2017 in San Francisco.

According to Ann M. Reed, MD, William Cleland Professor of Pediatrics and chair of the Department of Pediatrics, "Election to the SPR represents a true distinction, and Margarita and Richard are highly deserving of this recognition.”
