2018 Kids Care Grant Award Recipients

Each year a portion of the net proceeds from the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fund raising at Duke is allocated to the Kids Care Fund. This fund awards Kids Care Grants to support patient/family needs, entertainment and educational activities directed at the patients and families receiving care throughout all of the Duke Children’s inpatient and outpatient practices.

This year's Kids Care Grants were awarded for the following projects:

  • Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Patient Related Package
  • Improving the Primary Care Clinic Experience for Children with Autism and their Families
  • Durham Connects and Healthy Steps: Merging Clinic and Community
  • Opportunities for Wellness, Finding a Place to Start: Duke Pediatrics Family Wellness Guide
  • Creating a 3D Atlas of Congenital Heart Disease at Duke for the 21st Century
