Histology and Microscopy Core Facility
The mission of the Duke Microscopy and Histology Core Facility is to provide high quality instrumentation at an affordable cost to research investigators within the Department of Pediatrics as well as the entire Duke research community. The facility is located in Room 425 of the Jones Building and is managed by Mary Hutson, PhD and Margaret Kirby, PhD in the Division of Neonatology and the Neonatal Perinatal Research Institute (NPRI).
To protect the Department's investment in the facility and to ensure the Core can effectively provide its services, use of the facilities and equipment is restricted to Core staff and investigators trained and certified by the Core staff.
