Clinical Interests:
Hemoglobin disorders, sickle-cell anemia, management of pediatric solid tumors with an emphasis on advanced treatments for neuroblastoma

Research Interests:
Neuroblastoma is the most common extra-cranial solid tumor of childhood.  Despite advances in the treatment of childhood cancer, outcomes for children with advanced-stage neuroblastoma remain poor.  My basic science research interests are focused on understanding the physiology of the neuroblastoma cell and what it does to circumvent the effects of chemothearpy.  Clinically, I am involved in the treatment of childhood malignancies including neuroblasotma, soft tissue sarcomas, and leukemia.
