Pediatric blood and marrow transplantation

Research Interests:
Stem cell transplantation for a variety of pediatric diseases including malignant (leukemia, lymphoma and myelodysplastic syndrome) and non-malignant conditions (such as leukodystrophies, hemoglobinopathies, bone marrow failure syndromes and immune deficiencies). My research interest focuses on expanding the use of umbilical cord blood as a stem cell source and optimal selection criteria of a cord blood graft.
