Division of Nephrology

Division Overview

Duke Children’s Pediatric Nephrology is a multidisciplinary center that offers expert diagnosis, treatment and management of all types of nephrologic and hypertensive disorders in infants, children, and adolescents.  Therapies range from medical management to renal replacement therapy.  We offer experienced counseling to families of fetuses diagnosed with renal abnormalities.  This program is comprised of skilled and experienced pediatric nephrologists, pediatric radiologists, a pediatric nurse, a pediatric dietitian, and a pediatric social worker who specialize in the care of infants, children and adolescents with kidney disorders.  Our mission is to help children with kidney disorders attain the best kidney health possible, and to assist families and primary care physicians in providing high-quality care at home.
