In order to provide health care for children, a working knowledge of the presentation and treatment of infectious diseases is essential. Numerous publications and guidelines are published on a regular basis, but what is usually missing is a critical analysis of the data and its application to daily practice. This one day continuing medical education activity is designed to provide a targeted, concise but highly practical approach to the current problems in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
