The Gift of Hope
Giving is one of the most meaningful ways to connect with others. Your gift to Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center helps us care for our patients; expand our reach to those who do not readily have access to care; educate the next generation of top pediatric physicians, scientists and nurses; and provide funding for new discoveries that not only change children’s lives, but has the potential to advance health care globally. Your gift could be the one that finds the cure; the gift that gives a child the hope of a brighter tomorrow. Your gift can make the difference.
Some choose to give because of a personal connection with Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center and others simply feel called to help children. Whatever the motivation, we are extremely grateful that you have chosen to give the most meaningful of gifts to Duke Children’s, no matter the size every donation provides hope.
Gifts to Duke Children’s are tax-deductible, charitable contributions that help provide funds to offset the tremendous costs of uncompensated charity care, seed money for new advances in research, and advocacy programs for children and their families to help them heal both physically and emotionally.

Unrestricted contributions are used wherever the greatest immediate need exists.
Designated gifts support a specific need of your choosing, such as research, teaching, or a medical department or program that is especially meaningful to you.
Gifts in honor or memory of family, friends or a medical professional who has touched your life are also welcome. These gifts can be unrestricted or designated to a specific area within Duke Children’s.
The benefits are endless when you think of the lives that can be touched by a simple gift. You can feel good knowing that you are helping children who may not be able to find the specialized care they need anywhere else. Helping children and families who are facing battles and taking one day at a time. Your gift helps those who desperately need hope.
Once you make a gift you become part of the Duke Children’s family, a community solely devoted to improve the lives of children.
If there is something more important, we haven’t found it yet.
