2009 George Brumley, Jr. Memorial Lecture

The Making of a Scientist: An Unlikely Journey

Dr. Mario Capecchi, Distinguished Professor of Human Genetics and Biology at the University of Utah, will be visiting Duke to present the 2009 George Brumley, Jr. Memorial Lecture,"The Making of a Scientist: An Unlikely Journey," on Thursday, February 26 at 4:30pm in the Searle Center.  He will also give the keynote talk, "Modeling Human Cancer in the Mouse," at the Neonatal-Perinatal Research Institute Retreat on Friday, February 27 at 9:30am at the Washington Duke Inn.
