Community Partners
Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center has a strong commitment to improving life for children. To this end, the Center for Nutritional Disorders and Obesity (CENDO) and the Healthy Lifestyles Program are actively
involved in numerous community outreach efforts to encourage healthy nutrition, exercise, and behavior modification
techniques in the immediate Durham County area and across the country.

SEEDS
SEEDS is a
non-profit community garden in southeast Durham.
SEEDS offers low-cost after-school and summer camp programs for children and
teens, teaching participants to care for the earth, themselves and each other
through a variety of garden-based programs.
