Community Partners

Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center has a strong commitment to improving life for children. To this end, the Center for Nutritional Disorders and Obesity (CENDO) and the Healthy Lifestyles Program are actively involved in numerous community outreach efforts to encourage healthy nutrition, exercise, and behavior modification techniques in the immediate Durham County area and across the country.

SEEDS

The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina
The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina is a non-profit organization that provides food to people at risk of hunger through 870 partner agencies including soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and after school programs for children. More>>
